sherman Report post Posted August 19, 2014 So I just purchased this gun from a friend on here and it is a model 70 shadow we shot some factory ammo in it and was disappointed that it didn't do better to say the least. So I did some research and load development this is what I got and where I think I will stay Factory ammo First gosecond. The center black square is 2×2" green dot is 3/4"it is a 95gr set backed by h4831 all but factory are 3 shot groups.

Havasuhunter Report post Posted August 19, 2014 That cartridge needs to go on a diet. Fat little guy. It's like a 6mm bench rest on steroids. Great deer round I'm betting.

azhuntnut Report post Posted August 20, 2014 I have an ar chambered in the wssm and it really likes RL-17 and 87 grain vmax. I'm getting ready to work up a load using the Barnes 85 grain tsx for an upcoming deer hunt. David
