Heat Report post Posted August 20, 2014 I chose 6B because I know it better than pretty much any other Unit in the state. I wouldn't hesitate to hunt Unit 8 either. The 5s can also be great hunts. My cousin has the Peaks rifle hunt this year and I'm going to try to make it for his hunt. Hit me up in late October and I'll give you the report of his hunt. 208muley Report post Posted August 22, 2014 I put down 8 archery on the poll BUT the early rifle multi-unit is pretty darn good if you know where to look.. And a lot less people in a big chunk of dirt! Peaks rifle is super tough but can be very rewarding. 22s ml is the biggest sleeper in the state but you have to know where to look. One you haven't mentioned but is just like 8 for points needed is 7w.... Can be a fantastic hunt for 330-360 type bulls with occasional whopper in there.. Good luck with your choices....
