Poor deer!

Recommended Posts

This spike and doe were together. She has a big black growth on her side and he has some kind of eye infection?

I killed a buck in 9 that had growths like that all over his face and body. Thought about taking him to g&f but I hunted my ace off for him and didn't want to get issued another tag. Worst tasting deer I ever killed! Its hard to tell but you can see one good size growth on his eye and a softball size one near his rear quarter you can't see.post-2501-0-54766600-1408379134_thumb.jpg

I used to see these a lot more on deer out east....they are generally not dangerous for the deer, but unsightly and can sometimes cause problems with the deer being able to see and eat normally. They are mostly just a cosmetic problem. It's essentially a huge wart.

Sorry about that, but no he didn't but don't know if it was due to the warts or how awful the game processor was.
