I mean if you can skip dinner more power to you, I gotta skip breakfast cuz I know I’m gonna be gorging at night.

I prefer breakfast/lunch over supper normally. It works out.

Did another AZT section over the weekend.  27 miles from Freeman Road to the Kelvin bridge on the Gila.  Set-up a car camp at the top of Ripsey, so was able to spread the hike over two days.   Work has been sucky lately, so other than that, I haven't made time for mid-week workouts.  Gotta change that.

Food intake wise;  Trying to go with minimal carbs/sugars, but not being as discipline as I need to be.  Still haven't broken-out the calorie counter app.

These weeks fly by. It’s been 2 weeks again. Sabotaged myself as usual, ate a whole tres leches cake last week and about 350oz of coors light. Haven’t missed the gym, 25 minutes stairs in the morning, lifting in the evening. haven’t got any leaner. I think I’m finally locked in though.

Hiked Superstition Wilderness section of AZT on Saturday.  Roger’s Trough to Roosevelt  -  31 miles / 79K steps / >15 hrs on trail.  (Freaking spectacular country in there!!)   Only a couple of mid-week workouts.  Need to get my exercise up to 5-6 days per week.

Went overboard on food last week, topped off with Superbowl party snacks all afternoon yesterday.

The Tonto Cliff Dwellings?    If so, then yes, the trail traverses past within about a mile or so.   Didn’t get a view of them though.  (Was already dark when we past that part of the trail.  Not even sure if they would have been visible during day, given terrain…)

Side note:   Was pleasantly surprised by water all along the way.  From Reavis Ranch all the way to Roosevelt, the springs and creeks had decent water.
