GameHauler Report post Posted February 6, 2007 I'de like some input towards a small pair of binos for sitting in a stand or walking thru the deep woods or on a stalk. My swarovski 10X42 just seem to be to big and in the way while bow hunting.Looking for something like8X25 or 10X30 without paying the swarovski price. Thanks, Mike

Thanks, Mike I have a pair of the older SLC 8x30 Swaros.... and love them for bow hunting. Just can't judge a buck at long range with them.....

azcouesandelk Report post Posted February 6, 2007 I would recomend the 8x30 swarovski slc's if you can save up the money. They are small, somewhat lightweight and have great clarity. I have the 8x42 wind river cascades and they are decent for the money just fuzzy around the edges.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted February 6, 2007 gamehauler, that i think is them i would rather go with them then the SLC's since there going to be used for such close up you dont need perfect edge to edge clarity.
