unit hunt maps

Recommended Posts

Flatline makes very good maps for some of the units. www.flatlinemaps.com.

I have not used the maps you ask about but I'm sure somebody on this fprum has.

I used on last year and have mixed feelings about them. They are durable and the roads on them are very accurate. The things I didn't like were issues with the names of places. I would often find the same name reflected multiple time. I would cross reference to a topo application I have and find the correct names so wasn't a major issue. It also doesn't show the contours very well. I have also used FlatLine Maps and they are fantastic. In the absence of a flat-line being available they are good but you will replace it once a flatline becomes available.

Flatline maps are great but they don't have all the units yet.

I had started a post on the same topic previously. I too have a flat line map. There is the drawback that no all the units are available.

But holy crap are flatlines amazing. I bought mine for 22n last year. Got it home and me and my nephew (6 a the time) had it opened up on the living room floor as he was helping me plan my adventures. my 60# English pointer decided it was no obstacle to him as he walked across it. And Cj growing tired of my ramblings rolled onto it so he could go back to watching tv. Those things are rugged. Can still see the paw mark from the dang'd ol' dog too. but its perfectly fine.

I started he thread to see if anyone liked the hunt unit maps or another brand, but seems everyone recommended flatlines

I assume they are going to have all units at some point? Maybe doing the most popular ones first?? If he is a sponsor perhaps he can come on here and tell us. They look good.
