unit hunt maps

Recommended Posts

Thank you for the support and comments about our maps. We are very proud of the quality of our maps but unfortunately they take a great deal of time to complete. As mentioned above, we have concentrated on some of the more popular units. We will continue to complete other units across the state but this will be over time. We do not want to sacrifice the quality of our maps as we expand to other units.

We just released Unit 33 and are currently working on Unit 19A, 5A, & 1. We would love to have more maps complete because we don't like hunting in a unit without them.

We are trying to offer more products with our current information without sacrificing the work on other units. We are working on large unit wall maps as well as maps with a 1:24,000 scale. Our most recent product we hope to offer soon is a 1:24,000 scale map of the Verde River from Childs to Sheep bridge. We just returned from a 5 day bear hunt on the Verde River were we kayaked 32.7 miles from Childs to Sheep bridge, testing the accuracy and durability of the map.

Each year we also spend a great deal of time updating the maps we currently have. We update the travel management roads from the Forest Service and reevaluate any new information we have on the unit. As an example we added more then 200 small roads and details to Unit 5B this year. The last thing we want are our maps to become obsolete. Hope this helps with the transparency of our company and our goals.
