capoeirajosh Report post Posted August 10, 2014 I am not an expert my any means on bears, but if I had to guess, I would say around the 250-300 pound range. Looks like a good bear.

huntermncb Report post Posted August 10, 2014 That bear is rubbed really bad but is a nice bear. Hard to guess skull size but looks like an older boar.

kidso Report post Posted August 10, 2014 Agreed with the 300 pound weight and badly rubbed. Would be a tough one to rug, but great for a shoulder mount.

Would be a tough one to rug, but great for a shoulder mount. am i a fool to say that i believe that he just has spotting of brown in his hide, and it is not rubbing??? it looks to me like it is just a coloring deal and not a rubbing issue....once again, i know very little. Flatlander Report post Posted August 10, 2014 That bear definitely looks rubbed to me. He also looks like a complete porker, look at those rolls. What an awesome bear, somebody should go hunt him.
creed_az_88 Report post Posted August 10, 2014 I'm pretty inexperienced in the bear department but it looks like a coloring issue rather than a rubbed coat to me also. Awesome az bear either way.
huntermncb Report post Posted August 10, 2014 If you see multiple colors on a bear 90 percent of the time it is rubbed. I skin and have messed with a ton of bears. I'm not telling you to not shoot him if you get a chance. Just letting you know. His butt is rubbed alot also.
