1uglydude Report post Posted August 9, 2014 115 barns triple shock tipped or hollow point or 115 Berger VLD any one have load data ? shooting a Remington 700 26" XCR I don't think they offer the 115gr in a tipped tsx anymore. Personally, I shoot the 100gr tipped tsx with good results from both H1000 (72gr) and IMR7828ssc (70gr) out of a 26" 700 CDL.
Hoss50 Report post Posted August 9, 2014 I have been using IMR4831 with pretty good success with my 115 gr. loads. I know H1000, RL25, and RL22 are popular too.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted August 9, 2014 Retumbo, r33, imr 7828 are good ones too.
Hoss50 Report post Posted August 9, 2014 My most consistent load right now is 61.0gr of IMR4831 with the bullet seated as far out as I can. I am using fire formed .264 Win Mag & 7MM Mag brass so my case capacity is a little lower then a real 257 case though. I am shooting a 24" Vanguard. My rifles favorite bullet sofar is Hornady 117gr BTSP. It shoots ballistic tips well too but the Hornady is the best so far.
