Coues assassin Report post Posted August 6, 2014 This squirrel is protected in our national park. Maybe Greyghost, if it was a nice bull elk or coues deer you wouldnt think it so funny. Guess people throwing cats in dumpsters makes you laugh also. how is it any different than trapping a mouse, or shooting a prarie dog? i imagine that when you do either of those you don't feel such remorse? maybe it was a flying squirrel and he was just preparing it for liftoff? How is it different? Shooting the pest is humane and quick or if not quick the intent is for it to be quick and not torture the animal. I'm sure that kick did not feel good and imagine falling to your death. Yeah that's hilarious. Would you rather someone shoot you in the head or punch you in the face and push you off a plane to your death.
520HUNT Report post Posted August 6, 2014 Want to talk in humane and cruel... Read about how rat poison works. I would rather fall to my death than die due to internal hemorrhaging for up to a week ending with convulsions... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodenticide

100%DIYazCOUES Report post Posted August 6, 2014 I don't take killing anything as a joke, pest or not.its not funny or ethical to do that.if they are pests, take them out humanely.I have no problem with that.
muley224 Report post Posted August 6, 2014 Grand Canyon National Park. All critters are protected, even sheds cannot be taken. Not a spider or mouse in your kitchen. I guess that following the law doesnt apply to us all. If you draw a unit 9 Bull tag is it OK to shoot a Bull in the park ? Killing for fun is really not funny to me, sorry to all those who think its comical.
ThomC Report post Posted August 7, 2014 Wow the animal rights people have taken over this site. I suppose that you justify killing deer with " my little children will starve if I don't." Or "I only kill out of dire necessity." What a bunch of holier than thou phonies.

.270 Report post Posted August 7, 2014 How do ya know the squirrel was even injured? I've seen em fall from some big @$$ trees and scurry away. I bet it wasn't even offended. Well, he mighta been offended by the smell o' that frog. Wooo, them folks gets rank sometime. I'm bettin' the squirrel is back beggin' crumbs right now. Some folks really need to grow a little bark. PETA says they'll pony up $15k. The paper said the fine can only be up to $5k. He oughta fink on hisself and pocket $10 k. In fact, anybody got a video camera wanna meet me there tomorrow and film me kickin' one? I'll split it with ya. For a $10k profit I'd kick smoky off the ledge.
100%DIYazCOUES Report post Posted August 7, 2014 Animal rights people have taken over? Really? Its called being respectful and ethical. In my opinion, respect for the animals/nature is the number one thing that makes a true hunter.
