No Peep sights

Recommended Posts

Any one shooting one of the no peep sights? Tired of peep problems!!!! While shooting today my peep started turning. New string last summer re-tuned after break in, tuned it again recently nothings moved. Its the last thing I want to worry about with my bull tag coming up.

I really wanted to like a no peep sight. I got a new bow a few months ago. While setting it up I had the IQ sight installed. The problem I found is you wind up needing to look at the "cats eye" and the pins in order to keep the same sight picture. I could not get any constancy because of the need to have my eye in two places at once. I was disappointed. I like the concept but the application is IMHO impractical.

I shot several years with no peep. Just knew my anchor point and never had a problem. You just need to make sure your anchor point is solid shot in and shot out. You could try to go with a kisser button. Some people like those and it will give you consistent anchor point. For one, I never liked them but to each their own.

Definitely to each their own I don't like kissers my buddy had his fly off. Only reason I would see someone needing a kisser is they don't practice enough. Get your bow looked at see what's going on with that string. My peep hasn't twisted yet I'm at over 1k arrows What brand string?

I still use the old school "no peep". They are hard to find but I love mine. There is a new one out called the "anchor sight". I am thinking about switching to the anchor sight. It seems easier to use. The "no peep" will help reduce torque a ton!!!
