Wow. That story brings tears and big smiles to me. What a awesome experience to share with your child. It does not get any better than that....

Where can you buy Eastmans anymore? Safeway and Walmart used to carry it, but I couldn't find it

Sportmans and bass pro, Achery HQ walmart depends were you live. The cover has a big velvet mulie on it. She would have made the cover but our photo quality wasn't good enough. I got mine in the mail today so assume they will be on the shelves in a day or two.

That is what dreams are made of right there! Congratulations to her on a truly awesome bull! Way to go dad for getting her out there and comfortable shooting. There is nothing better than time in the woods with your daughter and what a way to spend it!

Wow that is soooooo flippin awesome!!!!!!!! A huge CONGRATS to you and your daughter!!!!!!! No offense to anybody that uses guides or to guides themselves but I am stoked to see this went to a DIY hunter (and not another guided bull with all the water marks) especially to a father/daughter!!!!!!!! I have a soft spot since I have 2 young huntresses soon to be big game hunting.

Very cool story and of course very nice elk!! How many trips did it take to pack it all out? (Unless I missed it in the story) and were there no closer roads to pack to or was it 1.5 miles each way?

We took some out the night of the kill and one more trip the next day. Yes, 1.5 miles each way. it was brutal terrain
