I hate to sound dumb but how can I get videos from my non-digital camcorder onto my computer

Sorry, I never saw your original post. But yes, it can be done. I do it using software called Pinnacle studio and Movie Box. The movie box is an external unit that you patch your VCR or camcorder to. The movie box converts the signal and sends it onto your computer through a USB or firewire connection. Of course, this method requires that you buy software and hardware, so if you aren't planning to do this alot, it's probably easier to just find some company that will take your old tapes and make them digital files. Do a google search and you can probably find some.
