camoremi Report post Posted August 5, 2014 My bow has 70lb limbs. It's pulling at 71.5lbs at the moment. So my question is my limb bolts can still go down quite a bit so if I had it turned to 75lbs would it damage the limbs? I'm just curious
Maverick351 Report post Posted August 5, 2014 What kind of bow is it? More than likely you'll be fine. Some bows are over achievers and some have more cable twist to get extra draw weight. Out if the box my 70 did 76.5 and I couldn't be happier.

8OWHUNT247 Report post Posted August 5, 2014 You should be fine.. I usually sit about a half turn from maxed out. I shoot a Mathews though.
GreyGhost85 Report post Posted August 5, 2014 it would be fine but if you shoot it fine how it is, adding those extra pounds is going to be more work than it's worth. you won't really gain any speed, it'll just throw off your sight and/or tuning and make your bow that much more difficult to pull

AverageJoe Report post Posted August 5, 2014 No it wont damage the limbs. You will gain around 8 fps from 71 to 75.
