FirstBlood Report post Posted August 15, 2014 I think the rut has been starting later and later every year for the last 5years or so.....And that is from my experience in the field...But Its out of are control and all we can do is hope it falls on are dates...I dont have a tag this year but the early muzzleloader hunt has been prime rut time ....TRuST ME......Just look at what my dog is looking at ..mmmm..Smoked elk Brisket...GREAT GUARD DOG.....
