Workman Report post Posted August 1, 2014 I've only hunted the northeast end towards Klondike and never had any service till last year, if you're up really high there's a couple places you can call out with verizon. I was also able to make a call last year right down in the valley near the old Klondike store. Before last year I always had to drive to where I could see the lights of safford to get any service. Str8Shot Report post Posted August 1, 2014 If you have Verizon you are good to keep your phone on your person either off or in airplane mode.. Turn it on when up high and there are many places you will get service in the Galiuro mountains and the Winchesters ... Reception will be spotty in most areas ! PRDATR Report post Posted August 2, 2014 I do have Verizon but I'm probably the only person left in the state who still has an older (not Smart) phone. LOL I keep telling myself, this weekend, this weekend.
Arrowsniper Report post Posted August 3, 2014 Can one subscribe to OnStar for a month only? Is so, that's a great option. You can call from anywhere with that system!
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted August 3, 2014 You can buy minutes from onstar. Not cheap but sure worth it if you need it. They do expire if not used.
