MOWhitail Report post Posted July 27, 2014 Have any of you ever purchased trip insurance for a hunting trip? I have an 84 year old gentleman in our church that is booking a guided hunt and asked me if I thought he should find some trip insurance in case he can't go for some reason... I have no idea what companies offer a good product and if there are any pitfalls to avoid. Thanks for the help.

Redman Report post Posted July 28, 2014 It's a matter of risk vs reward. I am not sure what the rates are for an 84 year old, but it has too be significant, does the cost of the insurance really reimburse the hunter enough if he can't go... It would be different if he was 24... The cost of the insurance is much less. If he is traveling overseas he may want to explore health insurance and Mediflight
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted July 28, 2014 So it's more for out of state, guided, or out of country hunts. Not a bad idea.
Redman Report post Posted July 29, 2014 Total cost of trip, doesn't matter where and varies by age.
