Coues Stew Report post Posted July 25, 2014 Im heading over to williams this weekend to test the fishing over at Kaibab and cateract in unit 10 near Williams. Has anyone fished these areas in recent years? Looks like they could hold some nice bass .... also the real quesion is has anyone gotten into the coues over in that same area just passed williams? Im gonna do some hiking around/scouting while im there looking for beds tracks or rubs. It sure would be fun to hunt some coues up north in Dec. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Heat Report post Posted July 25, 2014 Personally, I've never heard of a coues deer in Unit 10. Farthest north and west I've heard of is in Sycamore Canyon between 6B and 8, but they are expanding their range. There are javelina there though for sure, so who knows, maybe the coues are not far behind. Most certainly is mule deer country though. Good Luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
