codyhuntsaz Report post Posted July 25, 2014 Does anyone know where in town has the new swhackers with the practice heads? I have an archery strip tag and would like to start using some of the practice heads asap.
buffhunter Report post Posted July 25, 2014 You can just take one piece of electrical tape enough for one wrap and it will hold the blades in for 2-3 shots. Thats what I use to do when I shot them. Its actually what I was told by the owner Rick to do.
bigorange Report post Posted July 25, 2014 That's exactly what I've done too. Doesn't seem to dull the chisel blade on the outside either, so you can take the tape off and use for hunting. Inner blade still razor sharp.
codyhuntsaz Report post Posted July 25, 2014 I've done that but I don't want the hassle of retaping every 5 or so shots. I need to buy some more anyway. I have a 13a archery tag to get ready for!! I found some at bass pro that include the practice heads.
camoremi Report post Posted July 26, 2014 You could take a maybe 15 shots if your groups are same as field tips. Go back to those. Problem solved. Save some money
