What is this?

Recommended Posts

AZGF aficionados, look at attached map. I'm wondering about that large section of land between the southern border of GMU 20B and the northern border (LP 303) of GMU 25M.

Much of this territory used to be Peoria and some is now State Land Trust. Hunting is legal but where would I find what restrictions might apply, it's not in a hunting or metro unit.

according to the AZGF access mapper thing they got, when i zoom in its 26m. but it does appear to be "no mans"...err "no unit" land. 20b curves up around lake pleasant and isnt actually in the unit. Looks like the swath of land goes from the border of 20b to uo across the 17 to the new river area

Yes 20B Sorry.

There's a lot of land between the southern border of 20 B which runs along Hwy 74 and 25 M which has a northern border of LP 303

From the 303 north along I-17 to Hwy 74 to Grand and back to LP 303, there is no unit. I live there, and want to predator hunt in the lower Hieroglyphic range.

26M ends on the 303.

looks like 25m from the map but if you read the dept's physical boundries description, and know where I'm talking about, 26M and 20B are 10 miles apart.

Don't know why I can't copy and paste on this site but there ya go.

It is clearly 26m, I hunt that exact area and if you go on AZGF and look at 26m boundaries it will encompass the stretch you are talking about.

Ahhh. The boundaries have moved twice since 2009. Im reading an older description from an outdated azgf page online I Googled. Why don't they take that stuff down?

Thanks all that responded, I'm gone hunting.........

I say 26m. I also hunt there and yes firearms restrictions apply. shotguns and archery. It is just about impossible to get away from the jackass's there! and the donkeys are a real pain in the rear also. ;)
