bmf1321 Report post Posted January 26, 2007 Unfortunetly, by increasing BP's and NG's the drug runners and illegals are only going to try and find new travel routes that are deeper in the desert and closer to our hunting areas. Increasing the BP and NG might help but IMHO I think the way they patrol needs to be changed. I have never seen a BP/NG on a hillside with a pair of binos, too far from their trucks. We need to get more guys on hillsides and on horseback. Driving the roads just isn't effective enough. I will continue to hunt the southern units and will continue to be armed and ready to defend myself. This is our country and we should be able to enjoy our land as we please. I ain't budgin a bit whether they kill them selves tryin to cross our dang border, tough chit on their own, I'm gonna do my hunting anyways, dang illegals..I don'thave a problem with them working for construction or sewer companys or crop growing but it's their trash is what bothers me the most!!! They take jobs from Americans, they dont speak English, and we have to support them with health care and wellfare. ScottAF Report post Posted January 28, 2007 Today i was down in 36B.And it seems that two Illegal woman strolled into some bowhunters camp.BP was there and had them on the side of the road.I have never really hunted down in the 36's to much.But i just started alot this year.And I can see what you guys mean.Last weekend I took my grandfather down to 36A about 5 miles from Sasbee road.And we had a drug runner trying to hide in the tall grass from us.In 34A this January on the Santa Rita range I seen about 8 of them.I even saw two guys in camo.When i waved to them they didn't wave back and they weren't carring bows either.I felt a little uneasy.I talked to the border patrol out there and they recommened I start carrying a gun.BP told me they are having alot of drug runner problems in there from Elephant head north and west down to the pecan fields.They also told me that drug runners are starting to come over the pass in Madera Canyon which is some steep butt country.Anyways you guys take care out there. NOT!!!--After seeing a bunch of them--even on the highway, and being in the middle of a couple of busts--I boiled up my tag--added a little Habanero sauce and ate it. I was able to turn some in and found out that the BP picked them up. If I can find a safe place to camp and not have to go 900 miles to get to a good hunting spot--I'll try it next year. Maybe 36 a or b. I stayed at the Universal Ranch RV Park in Aravaca--but it was waaaaay to costly to drive over to 36c to hunt everyday. Will be looking around. Tucson John Report post Posted January 29, 2007 This last week was a busy one for Illegals. Friday we had two surrender to us because they could'nt walk any more. We helped them out by calling BP. Saturday, we woke up a group of about 20 and they took off running. It's way beyond out of control down there, it's a war zone. I also refuse to let this deter me from hunting the land I love. We were in 36A. The week before I was about 80 yards from a nice Mulie, and 9 illegals came walking down the wash and that was the end off my stock. We have a real bad problem and our government realy doesn't want to stop it, they just want to APPEAR to want to stop it. It will get way worce before it gets better. Most politicians are counting on their votes in the future after they help them get here and stay here, and those Pathetic... er make that Sympathetic liberal crybabies who cannot call a spade a spade. Illegals have "rights" and take more advantage of "entitlements" than most legal citizens. The openly stated goal in Mexico is to take back the southwestern United States to be a part of mexico. This is known as Republic del Norte. Hispanics (mostly mexicans) already make up 1/3 of the population of California now and more in other states. The fact is More than 10% of the population that was born in Mexico is living in the US illegally. You may not know, but The US congress has a bill before them now that plans to pay illegals with US social security funds when they are old enough to retire even though they are illegal! This plan is being worked out with input from mexican politicians as well. Someone has got to say it and Make the politicians and liberals understand that the US cannot support every person that wants to come here with benefits that were created for legal citizens. Illegals suck the life out of this country. I don't care if I have to pay more for a burger or whatever. I do care that illegals are just that... ILLEGAL. If illegal immigration is not a crime, why is something like auto theft also not illegal. Lets just call it auto liberation. What about a crime like Assault? lets just call that "Physical counciling" What about a crime like Burglary? We could rename that "Opening doors for redistribution" Go home you lousy life sucking leaches. Once Again, I will state that I have absolutely no problem with LEGAL immigrants from any country anywhere on the earth. I encourage and support LEGAL immigration .
