My new hunting rig

Just picked up my new rifle from a buddy who does gunsmithing. It's a Remington 700 model in 300 win mag with a Bell and Carlson stock with the action glass bedded and the barrel is free floated. 26 inch barrel with a muzzle break and it's topped with a 6.5 20x50mm leupold mark 4 with mil-dot reticle.

Good looking gun Justin. I look forward to seeing a pic of it in front of a toad whitetail. Have you worked up a load yet. I am sure you will be starting with 208 Hornady pushed by Rutumbo. Let me know what you come up with. We are going to move to a 208 round and see how well it performs.

Thank you jeffro and Robert. Yes you are right, it's going to be a Hornady 208gr Amax fueled by Retumbo. All I have to do is wait for them to come in from back order before I can start having fun haha.

If you don't find the accuracy you're looking for with retumbo, try H1000. If that doesn't work try IMR7828. You're sure to find a good load with one of those 3.
