A few pictures from the last week

Recommended Posts

My husband was nice enough to surprise me with a new camera :) Here's a few pictures from the desert and a few from the woods. I'm learning new technology with the camera, but what I've found is my time stalking animals is paying off when carrying just a camera and it is so much lighter than my bow!

Right after I saw the yellow ferret, I looked over the edge and found this! My biggest to date. Still can't imagine how they carry these things around on their heads. They are heavy!

That's not a centipede is it?

Oops, a little research.... I guess it is! But I did also see...."while painful, not dangerous to humans."

It was at least 6" long and was crawling on a more than vertical cliff (hope that makes sense).

Even if they aren't "dangerous" to me, that many legs that are thicker than a toothpick freak me out!
