buffhunter Report post Posted July 16, 2014 And they start accepting leftover applications on the 28th so you think they would have to give people the week before to fill out apps, get money orders so they can have em in the mail by that Friday before...... also now that GnF Is doing the draw in house it seems they are on top of their stuff. They had only a few hick ups but not enough to delay the process. This is not what I took away fromy discussions with them a couple weeks ago. My understanding is that they are now free to hire their own contractor to do the work but are not performing the work in house. I could be wrong but I'm usually not Regardless it does appear to be operating smoother now than in the past. I am still guessing Tuesday. Sounds like someone needs to set up a contest. Mathews22009 Report post Posted July 16, 2014 What you heard was correct or at least half of it. After the melt down this last feb the board put the draw to a vote on June 4th to do it in house or contract it out. They decided that with the deer draw being less draw applicants they would do this as a trail run. They had a few software errors and processing errors but were quick to fix.
