Idcurs Report post Posted July 30, 2014 Ok here is the stuff for 15cs,the Gm in that unit passed away a couple months back.He was one of the very best--RIP--Gunner!!!!Talk to Erin or Jeff the Bio's in the kingman office! You can find a 150 ram and maybe a 160,but don't set the bar to high in this unit.I live in the unit and over the last 18 years have seen a couple that would go 165 to 170 but not latley.Portland mine rd,Union pass and Mormon springs are great starting points! If you need a hand glassing I have our sheep spotting crew and we find sheep. Most are guys that have killed their sheep and just have the sheep bug.Last year we found a 171 0n the early 15d hunt it was the best sheep taken on that hunt.the hunter missed a 174 and Jeff from G&F killed it in the later hunt!Sheep are easy to spot that BIG white butt sticks out well, and the big yellow horns.Get the best glass you can,and use them !!!!!!!! DBArcher Report post Posted September 6, 2014 Just a little update on the prep for this hunt: Been into the unit twice so far, covered a lot of ground and even more on the boots. Still haven't seen a sheep as of yet. We aren't getting discouraged yet but its a little upsetting to not see any. Going to head up again within the next week or two and hopefully see a sheep!!! forepaw Report post Posted September 7, 2014 DBArcher, Many will be down by the river until the temps. go below 100 deg. F (which should be any day now) then they will be infiltrating back into the canyons and on the ridges. Don't forget, they are just now coming out of the rut, possibly some still rutting. Best of luck. Stay positive. Sheep hunting is a mental game, as much as it is a physical one. forepaw

DBArcher Report post Posted December 21, 2014 I'm here, had a great hunt. My buddy killed his ram on day 6 after busting our butts everyday thru the rain and fog. I will see if I can get permission for a picture or two. Ram is pushing 168 with 15 inch plus bases.
