rossislider Report post Posted July 13, 2014 I'm towing a heavy load up from the valley to the Show Low area next weekend. This past week I had a debate with a couple of coworkers about which route was the safer route to tow with a heavy load, Payson or Globe? Anyone have a lot a experience with both that can weigh in? rossislider Report post Posted July 13, 2014 Seems unanimous thanks genteman. I'm of the same opinion and I've towed up both directions many times. But what got me curious was the difference in several long moderate climbs through Payson/rim at higher speeds vs the 1 steep drop/climb through the canyon at lower speed.
