Chukar Plucker Report post Posted July 7, 2014 I guess the title is a little off, it is not shutting down, but it is not taking photos after a period of time. I have a couple of cameras in the field and it seems anywhere between 36-48 hours the camera will stop taking photos. I have plenty of space left on the SD card and good battery life. Once I turn it off and back on it will start taking photos again but only for around two days. The unit is still on a displaying correct date a time when I show up to check it, but will not take a photo. I have tried everything the manufacturer has suggested, hard reset, new sd card, etc. I am coming to the conclusion this camera might be allergic to the heat. It has gotten over 110 a couple of days and that is all I can figure now. Has anyone had a similar experience or can you offer any advice?
Coach Report post Posted July 7, 2014 I'm currently dealing with them on some similar issues with an M80. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/50086-moultrie-not-a-good-experience/ Suffice it to say, I've bought my last Moultrie camera.
CouesBuckhunter Report post Posted July 7, 2014 Head over to chasinggame forums. Just type that into Google and it should pop up. Post the issue in the Moultrie section and someone should help you out there. A lot of cam fanatics on the site that know the cameras in and out. Hope this helps. Shedhunteraz Report post Posted July 8, 2014 Its a Moultrie...enough said. We run two diff types of moultries. 990i and panoramic. Never one issue and best battery consumption I've seen. And we have used every brand. Maybe bad batch don't give up.
