cvw789 Report post Posted July 8, 2014 How do you do that?!? Yotebuster It takes a good amount of time and patience. We have to inject the antlers and let them dry out for a little before we can let the beetles go to town on the skull. When the antlers have dried and I feel they are read for the bug tank I then have to cover and protect the antlers so the beetles can't get the velvet. After the bugs are done i deal with them just like any other skull.

cvw789 Report post Posted July 10, 2014 How much to do a velvet buck? And what prep should be done on my end prior to bringing it to you? Just depends on what it is. They start at $100.00 and go up. The best thing you can do is get it skinned and into the freezer and to me asap.
