Has anyone else not able to cut and paste text into a reply on this website? It's really annoying because it is nearly impossible to share links. I wonder if it's a bug from the stupid Windows 8 system?

I use both 7 and 8 and don't have any problems, at least up until now.

I have issues with this and other forums, but I've always assumed it was a browser issue. Even went to compatibility mode with no change.

 

Latest annoyance has been inability to quote another post. My phone seems to be more reliable at posting than my PC.

 

And I know it's my PC...phone, iPad, and other computers seem to work fine for me.

What browser are you using? I'm using Chrome on a W7 Dell.

I try to always use my phone because when I go through the new content and click on a thread that I've already read some comments but not all of them it will take me back to the spot I left off from. I do have trouble quoting most of the time but I cant comment on copy and paste. Haven't posted too many links if any.

I have found that the only way I can quote another post is to right click the "quote" button and open it in a new tab or window. Annoying as heck.

If you have problems copying text or a link into the reply box editor all you have to do is copy the text/Link onto the clipboard on the tool bar at the top of the post reply box first and then add to your reply.
