Arrowsniper Report post Posted June 30, 2014 Where, or how do you have your spare tire attached? Seems to take a lot of room in the back!
5guyshunting Report post Posted June 30, 2014 Here is mine mounted with a u-bolt. My rear view mirror doesn't work to well though.
Willyhunts2 Report post Posted July 1, 2014 The guy I bought mine from did the same thing but on the top side and it is a rear wheel. Don't really want a rear spare so took it off. I've got the cooler rack in the back that fits a front wheel perfect now just got to find one.
Big Tub Report post Posted July 2, 2014 The front are significantly different size compared to the rear so I gave up on a spare.
Arrowsniper Report post Posted July 2, 2014 The front does not fit the rear?
Willyhunts2 Report post Posted July 2, 2014 The bolt pattern is the same tire size is diff. To get out of a jam the front would work in back but the back is to big for the front. Maybe the newer ones or different company's have different bolt patterns. I have a 2007 Polaris ranger 700.
rossislider Report post Posted July 2, 2014 The front and rear lug pattern are the same on my 2013. I use a front as a spare. Size wise, it isn't as different from the rear as one might think. Biggest difference is width. As previously stated, running a front tire on the rear isn't a long term solution, but it works very well as a short term spare. Verndog Report post Posted July 3, 2014 This is what I built for my Ranger. I have a front tire and wheel as a spare and can and have used it on the rear when I needed to. ~VH
