GotBowAz Report post Posted July 3, 2014 I saw one big orange and black one in unit 21 about 10 years ago. He was crossing the road just prior to seven springs. Very cool looking creature. GBA
Edge Report post Posted July 3, 2014 I couldn't get the video to play. Years ago I was climbing up a steep, rocky hill near Wickenburg. Heard a strange hiss and circled back down a few feet to look and there were two of them in a nest they had made in a rocky crag. They came out and read me the riot act for lookin at 'em and chased me down the hill. Don't think for a second they are slow and lumbering, they have a whole higher gear when needed and have an interesting method of gliding down steep hills while paddling with their feet. Lots of them around Lake Pleasant.
