lancetkenyon Report post Posted June 23, 2014 Not just a kids/ladies rifle! Great lightweight mountain rig for antelope/mulies/coues! I have a couple quarter bore rifles and love them. A .250 AI (very similar to a .257 Roberts) and a .25-06 AI. I put a big mulie down at 488 yds. with my .25-06, and my daughter shot a big mulie with the .250 AI at about 200 yds. I have taken javelina and the longest shot on game for me ever, a 1300+ yd. coyote with the .250 AI too. Light recoiling, and put a good bullet down the bore, it is good enough for even elk some say.
