For everyone second guessing game and fish I urge you to call them and do a ride along, don't just call the main office and ask these specific questions to the nice lady. Call your local GM and fill out all the forms for a ride along, or ask to meet him/her for lunch to discuss these issues. If you still feel the same way great, but I learned a ton doing this. Sure there are many surveys, math, biology involved....... but don't forget about the driving force: Money. Why did licenses and tag cost go up this year? More over this whole talk about an online hunter club that the G&F is trying to put together that will cost hunters $$ for special services. Tell me thats not about $$. Willyhunts2 Report post Posted July 4, 2014 Prices increase every 8-10 years I believe. I'm fine with that because so does everything else. Fuel, food, and life in general cost more as time goes on. They gotta cut tags some how.We can't buy rain but We can cut tags. Look how much $ You spend on gear ,Gas, Ammo and Booze. The cost of a tag is Minor. naturebob Report post Posted July 5, 2014 Ya, I figured that. If You enjoy Hunting so much You find a way to go. I raised 3 kids , I know what He means. Its tough. We never took Family vacations. Went hunting instead. There are ways. Gotta have a wife that plays along too, or understands.I am just trying to say deer tags are cheap compared to the cost of everything else in life.
