azhuntnut Report post Posted June 14, 2014 I was headed out to check some water and found this fire burning. It's about 5 miles north of Hapoy Jack on the edge of Jacks Canyon. 2 trucks of hot shots and a bunch of forest service fire department rolled in already. AZ8 Report post Posted June 14, 2014 Looks to be close to the old Canyon fire from a couple years ago. Fortunately, the wind will force it north, into the grasslands. http://hotlist.wildlandfire.com/threads/40944-AZ-COF-New-Jack

azhuntnut Report post Posted June 15, 2014 They are bringing in a lot of fire fighters on this one. I managed to get a pic of a tanker flying over me and a helicopter carrying water. David

Elkaddict Report post Posted June 15, 2014 The direction it's going there really isn't much to burn. On second thought the major power lines along 87 are probably the reason they are attacking this fire wit a lot of resources.
Antmo23 Report post Posted June 15, 2014 I heard something on FB about a truck fire and some climbers that were questioned. No good...
