Haha that's funny, its hard to fight coming up with an excuse story sometimes eh? If anyone says they don't contemplate it when the deer seem invincible I call bs, let's be honest here...

Monitor known WT bucks at all possible for January, become familiar with new rugged elk country for late archery bull, train the dog daily, overhaul waterfowl gear, decoys and blinds - it's going to be a great fall and prepping for it irons out a lot of down time when it's time to release arrows and fire steel in the air.. Good luck to everyone this year, hope your hard work and game plans pay off.

I'll be trying to get a bear in a small saddle, it doesnt get direct sun until 10;00ish...

I'd like to see the video of that! Would it be easier to use a large saddle?

Get a bow practice practice get it tuned, bust out the rifle start stretching some yardage, get the cameras out n get behind the binos from the rzr, get the wife setup n let some lead fly for hopefully her first muke deer hunt.

Now I know it must be getting close to archery season, I though about shooting yesterday. That's twice this week I thought about it.

Keep practicing with the bow scout a little bit and then go fishing on mohave because catching big smallmouths is funner than august deer hunting.

I'm working on getting permission to get on some private land. Stumbled in to a really cool spot and found out later its private, but not posted. I drew a December whitetail tag for the same unit but I'm planning on setting up a camera and a tree stand in August if I can get permission soon enough. If I tag out in August I can donate my December tag, which I think would be pretty cool.
