KDL Report post Posted June 12, 2014 Im in the process of building up my xj and I currently have the D35 with the stock 3:55 gearing. I want to get rid of the D35 and build off the 8.25 or 44 and go with 4:10 with Lockers in the rear. I could also build off the old ford explore 8.8 rear end. sjvcon Report post Posted June 12, 2014 Ford 8.8 is nice, but you have to run an adapter if you want the same bolt pattern ... I think the Exploder is 5 on 4.5 and the Jeep is 5 on 5.
