Guest oneshot Report post Posted June 8, 2014 The GF had some flowers planted in the backyard, a rabbit living under the raised planter was eating them. Just blocking off the hole with the rabbit inside or setting a snare over hole under planter werent options, as she didnt want the rabbit killed/hurt, so after blocking a drainage through the block wall... Dave on the Hunt: set-up a simple figure four box trap, baited with, what else, carrot pieces... Day One: rabbit ignores carrots, eats more flowers, GF laughing at me ( she said something about rabbit and Dave's brains being simular sized ???)... Day Two: rabbit in a box, released un-harmed over the wall, GF's hero... Problem solved...
Norteno Report post Posted June 9, 2014 No rabbit pics? Shucks. Why is it if they are in our yards they are cute, but if they're in the desert they are target practice?

Guest oneshot Report post Posted June 9, 2014 Just a quick note... I like to angle the bait holding stick of the figure-four at an up-ward angle, so the critter has to reach/lift it's head for the bait, drawing them deeper into the trap...
