Camofreak Report post Posted June 4, 2014 well now.......... i have shot core-lokts into live animals since 1970. they hold together very well at 75% plus weight retention in 180gr .308 and 130 &150gr .277. i like partitions because of incredible accuracy. but the 130gr .277 core-lokt is a watershed bullet in my little old humble opinion. read some JOC. through-and-through penetration with the core-lokt has been observed for over 40 years by this meat eater. lee Not sure ive ever shot into dead animals? lmao Ive shot quite a few animals with core lokts, i dig em! No problems here! But i also mainly archery hunt, so i dont really reload or anything.
