I've got lots of mixed comments on the chances of a 100" buck with hard hunting during the Nov. hunt, so I chickened out and didn't buy one. I've never been there before. AZbowhntr Report post Posted January 11, 2007 I have been up there this last weekend and going back up in the morning with a friend that has a tag. When we bought our permits this last weekend they said that there were a bunch of people camping out the day before they went on sale. I am pretty sure that everything is sold out. Coach Report post Posted January 12, 2007 Well I bit the bullet and bought a Nov. tag for the second year in a row. Believe it or not, I got totally skunked this year, but I attribute a lot of that to a slew of vehicle breakdowns, well... and a missed shot that I should have made. When I was camped at Point of Pines last year in March, we had turkeys every morning and evening walking around the trailer. We even found sign of some way down in the southern part of unit C where you wouldn't expect to find them. My buddy also bought a bear tag this year so I'll be tagging along with him this year as well. He goes every year. This year he went with 4 other guys and they all shot bears that made the books.
