My Savage Build

Recommended Posts

I have now shot 6 groups and they all were 1/4 inch. Will be testing them at 300 this evening.

Have a bunch loaded for a ladder test. Hoping 41.9 is my load if not a little tweaking will need to be done.

Don't know yet. I would say right around 12 lbs. Its not bad really. I expected it to be more. Valdada scopes are really heavy you put on a lighter scope and you would save a pound or 2.

Looks like your measuring outside to outside, so I think they are even better than .25"? Or I could be looking at the pic wrong, nice shootin!

He's measuring outside to outside then subtracting the diameter of the bullet.

Yep I see that now, thanks for helping me out on that one! :-)

Very nice!

I wish I had the talent to build a rifle.

How much was the "parts" cost for the build?

Jeff

Very nice!

I built my 260 on a long action for versatility. I have taken it to 1070 yards so far. I want to build another one in 300 Blackout for close quiet fun.

Thanks for the number breakdown.

Looks like the next one may be cheaper because you have tools now.

Keep the target pictures coming :)
