sgha Report post Posted January 9, 2007 My dad and I were able to get down to 24A on saturday for a very memorable pig hunt. At about 11:30 I spotted 4 javelina feeding WAY across a large canyon. Dad stayed behind the binocs and I started my way across the canyon and was able to get above them. The stalk lasted about 2 hours (told ya it was a big canyon) and I was able to seal the deal on a nice 40 lb. boar! My dad and I were reminiscing and we realized that it had been almost 10 years since we've shared a successful big game hunt together. It was a hunt i'll always remember. Hopefully we can get pops in on a pig here in the next week or two. Some may be wondering why I didn't put the old man on the pigs, well he left his javelina tag sitting on the counter so by default the stalk was mine.
