ctafoya Report post Posted May 25, 2014 After my last evaluation I never went back. I worked for a large water treatment company here in Phoenix and the VA was one of our accounts. I was disgusted by what they were passing off as "medical" equipment. I heard a lot of vets died at Tucson VA over some of the things I've seen at phx va. DesertBull Report post Posted May 25, 2014 IF the idiots in charge of the USA would quit sending Billions of dollars overseas, we would have more money and personnel to take care of the Vets. I have been working with a Vet, and he said it sometimes takes 6 months for him to get into the VA. No wonder these guys are messed up and dying.I agree but the current disaster has little to with funding and a lot to do with criminal negligence, lying, and book cooking. Is it asking too much for the media to just report the facts? We dont have journalism anymore, just political advocacy. Elliott Rodger was the son of Hunger Games asst. director Paul Rodger. The family issued a statement afterwards of being anti-guns and for gun control. No mention though of the need for knife control. What Hollywood libs will never get is that nutcases will always find ways to kill, and armed citizens can help stop or prevent tragedies from becoming even more tragic. Sounded like you were pointing at some sort of conspiracy theory that someone dreamed-up to keep the VA scandal off of the Sunday morning news shows. S. PS: I was on foxnews.com yesterday morning and they seemed to be reporting the facts the same way. Focusing on the shooting aspect of it....... There will be noise and a 'call for action', but I suppose that in the end as has happened afte prior incidents, reasonable heads will prevail and there will be no significant action taken regarding gun control due to this single instance. There will ALWAYS be nut jobs who will kill, which is very unfortunate. Tweeking or even radically changing gun laws will of course have no impact on that fact. S. PS: Desertbull, don't even get me started on the Kardashians! Can't believe how obsessed people get over so called 'celebrity' in this world. Sad...... I believe the Bush administration also leaked the name of a CIA operative because they were mad her husband a white house aid was against the war in Iraq.
