Online Draw Problems

Did four tags the other day. Worked fine and got charged but no emails for me either. Sounds like Colorado might have had problems with their on line draw. I thought their's was bullet proof. Still waiting to hear if I drew

I heard that too! I heard they didnt put any NR in the deer draw so they have to re run it! No joke!

They didn't re-run the draw... they ran the first and only draw, but didn't assign tags to NR in some units.... So they had to go back and re-assign tags to NR in some cases. The draw was never re-ran.

i put in on friday for deer and turkey for the four of my gang... no problems on either tag. There isnt a confirmation email, the confirmation comes in the "finish process" or what ever its called. the last screen is the confirmation and it gives you the chance to print it. I know it went through because i got the charge from my bank a minute or so after hitting ok on the g&F page

Except that in EVERY single online draw they have always provided a confirmation email in addition to the receipt you described. If they have stopped providing the email, then that is something new. My guess is that it is a glitch of some sort related to the new payment processing system. Their contract with the old vendor expired after the elk draw and the Department was supposed to develop their own in-house system in time for this draw. That's probably why it took so long for the online option to go live this time around.

Just got my app. Done. The website was running extremely low. Put in archery only deer 1 unit only. Any guesses which one? Lol

It kicked me off lastnight on my first app..... Didn't try anymore lastnight. Then this AM it was great. Quick and effortless.

 

Had to update a card because I put the wrong name on the payment info. Went back in, changed it and got an email verification. So you get an update email if you change payment info but not for the application. Weird.

Did mine at midnight 2 nights ago and it was flawless.

 

Question in yrs past once you put in your ID # your hunting license # was automatically entered for you. For the elk and now this draw I noticed I had to put my own license # in, anybody else notice this?

That's an inconsistency in their system. I noticed that when I filled out an application for myself or anyone else who purchased a 2014 license in 2013 as part of the spring draw, the license field did not automatically populate. But, when I added one of my friends and by brother in law to an application, their's did populate. The only difference is they purchased their licenses in 2014 as part of the elk/pronghorn draw.

Yep I purchased my license in 2013. I entered a different number just to see what would happen on my sheep bonus point only app and it doesnt stopp you from entering the wrong license #. I went back and changed it. I guess online isnt all the way fool proof.

I received no email confirmation either and called after a few days just to check to see if my apps were received. The girl told me that they had been received but they were having problems with their email system. For some reason it didn't surprise me.

I noticed the same thing on my apps. I applied for the spring draw last fall. I had to manually enter my license number. My wife and father had their license numbers in the system already. Didn't have to enter theirs....

Beware! If you, like me, applied for more than one species and did it all at once their may be a problem. I called my bank (BofA) to let them know that there were 5 seperate charges I completed through a website for AZG&F. I was told the first one went through, but since there were four others from the same vendor, for the same amount, the subsequent 4 applications were declined. I did not get a declination notice when I submitted the credit card on the site, but only found out after calling BofA. I had a suspicious feeling that the transactions would be flagged being so close together and for the same amount. However, in years past I had done the same thing with no problems (BofA too). So now, I have to call G&F draw department tomorrow to make sure everything is good to go. Not too happy about that, I don't want to lose my bonus points for missing a draw. Deer is the only one I am truly interested (and able to hunt) in drawing. I'm sure it will get resolved but, man what a pain. I KNEW i should have done it one at a time over the course of a day, but the bank probably would have done the same anyway. You live and learn I guess. Not really blaming BofA, even though I'm not really a fan, as any legit bank would/should have done the same thing. AZG&F needs to figure out a way to do it all at once so that you only get one charge for everything instead of 2,3,4 etc. seperate ones.
