wildlandfire.com gets updated quicker than most Gov sites, guys from around the country do it, from the main page hit the Hotlist button then it breaks down by region.

I have been trying to keep updated on the Slide Fire since I live in Kachina Village. Getting current and accurate info is frustrating. There have been conflicting reports of the fire being established in Pumphouse Wash which leads directly to KV. ( for some reason, I cannot C&P the link to the wildland site forums)

I know what you mean. I think they meant that the fire has gotten to the wash but hasnt crossed the highway. I think I saw you walking your dog last night on my way to my cousins house. Theres been only a few people that have the right information. We left because of the smoke is to bad to have our son around.
