coues7 Report post Posted May 20, 2014 How do you like the specwar? Thinking about a saker
cactusjack Report post Posted May 20, 2014 Coues7, I love the specwar line. I have 2 of the 762s and 1 556. I also have a Saker556, not the 762. I only bought the Saker556 because I can shoot my 7in PWS Diablo suppressed with it. I haven't shot a Saker762 yet but I will prob not get one. I did buy the Harvester30 cal. It is awesome on my Remington 600 243. Light, quiet and did I mention quiet? Big Browns, dont you know not to ask these kind of introspective questions? How much did that Coues steak cost you, by the pound? I built it slowly and luckily I don't fully remember. I can tell you the stamps for the SBR and the suppressor totaled 400. The T1 was 550. I got a deal on the suppressor, it was 800 new, but it was a demo can from a company that is out of business, I have the 45cal and 308 from that company, so I was looking for adapters for 9mm. found this can and the dealer wouldnt sell me the parts, but sold me everything for 300. . I sold one part I didnt need for 100. So the Titanium 9mm can cost me 200. plus the stamp of course. The stripped 9mm lower was about 300. and it goes on,, lets stop now so I dont cry. cactusjack Report post Posted May 21, 2014 Here are others I built/bought plus a close up of the 9mm when it had a 7in rail on it, instead of the 10 it has now. First one is 6x45 with an HTG Predator 762. Then is my 7in PWS Diablo with a SilencerCo Saker Then a Ruger 77/44 44mag with a suppressed barrel. Haven't decided on optics for it yet. It is still in NFA jail Then a Ruger 22/45 Lite with a SilencerCo Sparrow. And the 9mm with 7in rail.

ctafoya Report post Posted May 21, 2014 How did you go about getting the suppressors? Did you set up a trust? I've been wanting to do a suppressed SBR but don't know where to begin.
ctafoya Report post Posted May 21, 2014 Also are the stamps an annual fee or is it a one time deal?
cactusjack Report post Posted May 21, 2014 I did set up a trust. The time from purchase to having the stamp is getting shorter. It was up to 11 months, mylast one came back in 7. I buy mine at merchant firearms in Phoenix. They can help you set up a trusts too. I am looking for a drop in auto sear for the 9mm, so it isnt full auto yet. Big Browns Report post Posted May 21, 2014 Do you have to get a stamp for each gun?
cactusjack Report post Posted May 21, 2014 One stamp per class 3 weapon or device. It is paid everytime a device changes ownership (form 4). I live the pws diablo now that its suppressed. Hated it before. So loud.
