I'm going to try this again wtt remington 700 7mm (back up)

I put up a second stock option it is back up first one feel through

7mm is a great round, don't trade it, take it to a gunsmith and have them put a muzzle break on it and that will take out a lot of the kick. It will make it louder but it is worth it.

I put a muzzle brake on my 7mag and had the trigger lightened... and my son shot it when he was 10 years old for his hunt.

How do you figure a .308 is the same recoil as a 7mm 8OWHUNT247?

^ Well unless it is a 7mm MAG, a .308 would be very similar. A .308 @ 165 gr will amount to approx 1.5 lbs less recoil.. (not much difference)
