Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. What business is it of yours. If the guy wants a guide then that's his prerogative and nobody asked for your opinion about it. Or your you his spokesman? to further answer your question, if the answer to my question is yes its out of the question for a diy hunt then it would be a waste of my time to write a pm giving him my extensive knowledge of 22n specifically the early rifle bull hunt.
