like it or not, there coming

I myself hate it. Its the start of ending hunting in arizona. Really surprised game and fish would have anything to do with this. They are only going to put themselves out of business.

Do you really think that those ranchers and other outdoorsman won't be shooting them off like coyotes. I am willing to bet there is going to be a bigger problem with people just killing wolves than wolves killing cattle.

yeah I know its coming but its going to destroy the mule deer heard and I feel bad for the ranchers and there cattle and sheep. this just shows how the game and fish wastes money, like they did in 33 with the transplant of those desert sheep that all are almost dead already. good thinking....Its hard to believe it wasn't thought through a little more.....no surprise that all tag prices are going up for stupid decisions that are made by them, which we all spend $100s each year.to hunt and donate and enjoy the days in the great outdoors that AZ has to offer.

This plan seems overly generous to the livestock industry which already pays less to graze on public land than they would on private land. This plan gives public money to the livestock industry not just for direct losses but for losses they can imagine.

(I would have cut and pasted from the article or from a Word document with references to the article but for some reason my computer won't paste to CWT.com anymore. Not sure why. If you've encountered that problem and figured it out and wanted to share your solution, let me know. Gracias.)

cattle eat 3X what a single elk does. the cattle are on public land where ELK ( and wolves) are supposed to be. Why are WE subsidizing this business . You are worried about a few wolves? we have a lot of elk , we could have Lot more. Not because of the wolves.

They have cattle in Idaho too. They used to have a lot more and moose before the wolves were brought back though.

Never heard of a cow ripping an elk calf apart.

A few wolves is one thing. What they are talking about is different. There is no reason to have wolves on the Kaibab.

I agree. Im pretty sure they where not native to the kaibab. The wolf lovers hate hunting for the most part. Planting more wolves is a big win for them, and a huge loss for us.

What's so ironic is the greenies are ok with a wolf shredding an elk from the butt end forward while its alive, but a human can't harvest the same animal in a humane way. In other words a wolf has more rights than us, and we just need to keep buying hamburgers from the nearest burger joint.

But they don't want you to get fries or a 44 oz coke with it.

They are just a bunch of tofu eating, yoga pants wearing, Dave Matthews Band listening, Karl Marx worshipping, carbon credit buying, The View watching, over educated, under worked, French wine drinking, Prius driving, Obama voting, morons
