Hunting's Next Perversion

Recommended Posts

Lark, its great to see a post from you again! Hopefully not your last. The forum needs to hear from "real" hunters every once in a while. I follow the forum, but stay in the background most of the time. I've been hunting in this great state for over 60 years and consider myself a "real" hunter that doesn't need all the latest and greatest cheating devices, however, if they are legal I don't go around crying about it. I'm Don that worked at Reimers for awhile and my brother Derral was with SRP for many years.

Thanks for reappearing!!

This possibly could be the most perverted I have ever seen on CWT.....I made the mistake of browsing with my wife over my shoulder as I came across the little gal with the hand full of arrows........I had lots of splaining to do..........

My ex is a worthless pile of Dung. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest her.

There seems to be a lot of low blows around here lately. Getting pretty gritty on the forum

Good to see the mood lightening up a little. I don't agree with Tony and I think it's interesting that we all are having it out here while he is sitting in his retirement home recliner. Sorry Tony no one is above some rib poking.

But honestly why on earth would anyone get all bent out of shape because some guy they don't know other than an imaginary screen name and an avatar said their method of hunting was a perversion? So what. Who cares. Big whoop. He wasn't campaigning to get it banned (at least not in this thread), no one said your a loser if you own a trail cam. No one's mother has been brought into the conversation, although we are getting darn close. So why get all hot and bothered? We disagree, big friggin deal. I own a couple trail cams and an atv. I don't agree with Tony, and guess what it doesn't matter. Heck my dad thinks rangefinders are an abomination. If it's that far get closer he says. Ok that's cool I disagree but we don't have a war over it he gets closer and I get a range. No big deal.

My heavens ladies what have we turned into a bunch of squabbling mother hens? Someone please post some dang scouting pics already, my goodness.

I started to write a couple times here and dang this thread got heavy. Very interesting. Certainly a lot of pent up feelings here.

I'm on no side except the animals. Sometimes this can mean G&F has me in their pocket because I feel I do what is right by the animals. Using a drone to hunt isn't right for me and certainly isn't right for the animals, but as I've learned in person and been told on this site there are hunters who will do ANYTHING for a kill because they want 100% success.

I disagree with technology or quads or any of that crap being THE problem with hunting. It's the actual humans who are the problem. Without them, none of this is an issue.

Lark - Welcome back.

Without humans? Without human management and human technology our deer, elk, and duck numbers would be 1/4 of what they are today. Game populations have exploded under human management in North America.
