wildwoody Report post Posted May 6, 2014 It's not just him, these boards are full of hunters who have that attitude. Next we will hear about a "bozo" who put a blind 40 yards from a road in 23. Oh wait, that already happened today. Yes, he has an opinion... And so do I. People should stop worrying about other people and move on with their own lives. Live and let live. Who cares if there was a blind found near a road. You can't make a statement like, cameras and atv's are "perversions of hunting" and not expect to get opposing opinions that are just as bold. i don't think i called him a bozo, i was stating my opinion and concern about leaving a blind that closs to the road because i have had alot of stuff stolen , and i no i'm a bozo for putting it out there, and also stated i don't steal even no i have been stolen from. the only problems i have with any person, hunter, hiker anyone is if they steal and lie, so settle down and remember it only your opinion which thank god we can still have that"maybe not" don't get so fisty, this forum is all in fun. and yes i want to shoot a drown , i need 1 on my trophy wall. and this is only my opipion , like what i said about the guy in 23, good day
Swivelhead Report post Posted May 6, 2014 90% of the hate & discontent involved in our sport is due to motor vehicles, waterhole competition and trail cams. G&F dealt with thermal imaging, soon the drones will likely be specifically called out by G&F and public land managers. Technology must be reined in to some extent. We owe it to the game. I'm with Tony on this one, get out and HUNT.
5guyshunting Report post Posted May 7, 2014 I think things are sometimes posted and people use the wrong terminology. It seems as if you have to analyze everthing about your post or someone is going to take defense or offense to yor topic. I'm a concrete cutter and probably not as intellectual as some, but I try. This post by no means is directed at the original poster.

I'm with Tony on this one, get out and HUNT. AZ Game & Fish specifically says using a thermal imaging devices is a good way to view wildlife with out disturbing them in their nocturnal habitat. http://www.azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/watchableWildlife/OpticalEnhancementsWildlifeWatcher.shtml Also R12-4-303 says you you may not use thermal imaging devices to take an animal, but says nothing about using them to scout. Many hunters have used them for scouting for several years now.
HuntHarder Report post Posted May 7, 2014 "take" loosely translates in to attempt to take or pursuit. You do not have to take an animal to actually "take." I wonder how AZGFD would interpret using thermal imagery close to a hunt or the night of a hunt?

Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted May 7, 2014 Hmmmm.... so if government resources or government dollars are utilized for "Data Collection" it is "Progress!"... If an innovative individual is willing to dump those same resources and dollars into "data collection" it is a perversion? I like it! Get the stake, rope, and starter fluid! We gotta burn these SOB's at the Stake and stamp this $h!T out before we have another epidemic like baiting!!! Bah Hahahahaha.... Are you guys Kidding me!!!??? I am calling BS on this even being productive enough, unless you just love flying lil' remote control toys in the first place.... LOL!!! And once again we are indeed pointing fingers (again), the dividing & conquering continues... Carry on...

.270 Report post Posted May 7, 2014 I was putting a battery in my backhoe and got an email telling me to look at this thread because phony tony was at it again and have everbuddy mad at each other. I'm sure I'll be banned for life after this but hopefully a few folks will get to read it before it gets nuked. I gave up on this site a long time ago because it became painfully apparent there were a lotta fence riders and out and out liars on the big tag grab legislation that was dangerously close to passing. That and being censored by one of the guys leading the charge was more than I wanted to deal with. So here we go. And I don't care anything about drones. Big f'in deal. When are you guys gonna figger out who the h e l l phony tony is? He's the official water packer for the azgfd. Plain and simple. He ain't a hunter. If he was he wouldn't have to have a buncha guides to get him on a sheep that wouldn't have been legal a few years ago when there was a 3/4 curl minimum. He's never shot anything that somebody didn't pack his lame butt to. He starts this crap and then retreats to his own little world thinking how cute and smart he is. Like the old saying, those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. In chiclet tooth tonys case it's, those who can hunt do, those who can't, like phony tony, write lame stories. Or sit around and try to get other folks to fight with each other. The guy does whatever the azgfd tells him to do. Look at the hack job he pulled on lance awhile back. What a punk. The guy has never had a relevant thought of his own. He's the king of cut and paste. When I did a point by point counter on the bogus lead poisoning of the condors he accused me of being a drunk and getting a 10 year old to write for me. Now he's got all you guys fighting with each other over something that doesn't matter. All because his handlers sic'd him on it. Phony tony is a joke. You guys take a long look at his record. Cut and paste. That's all he can do. I'll bet he calls AAA when he gets a flat on his minivan. If ya blind folded the moron and spun him around 3 times in an empty parking lot he'd hafta cal 911 to get rescued. Anyone on this site has done more and has more experience than this phony. Look at things for what they are. And anything this loser writes is pure bs. He says and does whatever the azgfd tells him, when they tell him. Don't let one con artist get you to fight with each other. I'm sure I'll never be allowed here again, but oh well. I have a lot o' work to do on the new Rancho Neglecto and still spend a lotta time building and repairing giant projects that are putting thousands of folks to work. So it ain't like I'm bored. Good luck and hunt hard. Do things that are good for the outdoors and don't listen to phony tonys. Lark
